• The relationship between Ford Motor Company and each team is a partnership and can only be successful if both partners embrace their respective roles and responsibilities.

• Students are the singular reason for our existence. Hence, their training, inspiration, recognition and total experience is our first priority – ALWAYS.

• The design, build and testing of the robot as well as all the supporting tasks within FIRST are to be completed by the students. This provides the best training and sense of accomplishment. Engineers and teachers & parents are mentors who assist the students in completion of these efforts.

• Gracious Professionalism is more than a catch phrase. It is the principle tenet by which all students and adults conduct themselves, in all of their actions, every day.
